This 13-week travel assignment places you in a respected hospital located just outside Chicago, offering a chance to work in a 44-bed medical-surgical unit with a focus on telemetry. You'll be handling a variety of patient types, from post-cardiac cath to respiratory conditions, interpreting strips, managing cardiac drips, and performing IV starts. The role includes day shifts, 12 hours each, with weekend rotations every other week. Experience with EPIC charting, AAH vaccination requirements, and supporting acute patients will help make your transition smooth. Be prepared to float to other MSU or Tele floors as needed, with orientation starting on a Monday to get you acclimated. Support staff, including resource nurses and in-house RTs and hospitalists, are available to assist. The hospital has a relaxed dress code with navy scrubs, free employee parking, and no call responsibilities, making this a well-rounded travel experience.
