You will be responsible for managing a patient census of around 43, including tasks such as administering Heparin drips, wound vac management, wound dressing changes, and supporting patients with high flow oxygen or short-term BiPAP needs. The position requires EPIC experience, BCLS certification, and at least 2 years of prior unit-based experience. You'll float within similar units when needed and may be assigned to storm or hurricane teams, working during inclement weather events or disasters. The unit does not handle PCU-level patients, and staff will attend monthly team meetings to stay aligned on procedures and unit updates.
