Please note: You will be working in a fast-paced perioperative care unit with a mix of pre-op, PACU (both Phase 1 & 2), pre-Endo, and post-Endo areas. The unit maintains a nurse-to-patient ratio following ASPAN guidelines, and you’ll be supported by experienced charge nurses, charge nurse/house supervisors, and two CNAs. Experience with general surgical recovery and Phase 1 PACU procedures is required, with a preference for those with at least two years of PACU experience or extensive inpatient nursing background. Enjoy standardized EPIC EMR documentation, and be prepared to assist with room turnovers and daily chores. Shifts typically start between 6-8 am, with occasional night call shifts scheduled from 6 pm to 7 am, rotating weekly. Travelers are expected to remain within 30 minutes of the hospital during on-call hours.
